State Garden Show Wuppertal 2031

BUGA 2031 offers the opportunity to experience Wuppertal in all its diversity from its outskirts and to improve the quality of life in the industrial yet scenic suburbs in the long term. The open spaces in the Tesche district, together with the activity park on the former landfill site and the Nordbahntrasse railway line as its backbone, complement the BUGA areas on the Königshöhe, the Nützenberg and at the Zoo. The path from the dense urban space in the valley to the views and landscapes on the outskirts of the city is also a journey through the city's history. Historical infrastructure, vegetation and special places such as the water tower, the old gardenery and the zoo form a diverse patchwork.
