On 21.05.2026, the award ceremony for the bdla's nrw.landschaftsarchitektur.preis 2026 took place in Essen at Zeche Zollverein. A total of 27 entries were submitted for the prize, which is awarded every two years. The 'Historic Town Centre Lüdenscheid' project was awarded a prize in the category 'Urban squares'.
