The preliminary project for the redesign of Rümelinsplatz in the old town district of Basel, based on the award-winning competition design from 2016, will be presented to the Grand Council of the Canton of the City of Basel in the coming weeks. Subject to approval by the Council, planning is expected to continue in 2021 and the project is intended to be implemented from 2022 onwards.
