The preliminary project for the redesign of Rümelinsplatz in the old-city of Basel, based on the competition design from 2016 has been presented to the Grand Council of the Canton of the City of Basel on the 16th of March 2022. The Grand Council decided to continue the project in the upcoming months and years.
