On Tuesday, May 03, 2022, the ceremonial opening of the first construction phase of the Feste Kaiser Franz Fortress Park in Koblenz will take place. The war powder magazine, which was assumed to have been destroyed and was rediscovered in the course of the construction project, was renovated for almost two years before the open-air facilities could now be completed. Currently, the second construction phase for the fortress parks Feste Kaiser Franz and Fort Asterstein is being worked on.
